Since buying the first issue of UK’s Women’s Health, I’ve enjoyed reading her articles and I also read Cosmo again too. Down to the book though. It’s really made me think about how and what I have done to put myself in situations I don’t like in order to better myself. Whilst it’s something I do do already, the Farrah’s explainations on how to listen to the voice on your head and use it positively, and tips on getting feedback have really got me thinking about how I now move on. A really great read for anyone who wants to try and do even that little bit better or feel that little bit more comfortable in a powerfully subtle way. Go buy. I read Farrah’s interview in The Sunday Times a couple of weeks after I started a new job and bought the book as a result. I’d been excited to start my new job but 4 days in I was completely paralysed by a fear that I couldn’t do it. To say I was in my discomfort zone is an understatement! Anyway I bought the book and have read it on my commute and two months in I am loving my new job. I know this might sound a bit OTT but honestly everything Farrah said resonated - it’s very straight forward, pragmatic advice and it has absolutely turned it around for me.
